Die Ausstellung ON EARTH beschäftigt sich mit dem scheinbar Bekannten, das uns umgibt: Der dreiteilige Abguss eines denkmalgeschützten, reich mit Spuren seiner von schwerer Arbeit geprägten Geschichte versehener Stirnholzparkettboden der ehemaligen „Steingießerei“ als ortsspezifische Arbeit im Ausstellungsraum. Gesammelte Erdproben in Glasfläschchen, verkohlte Äste aus einem Waldbrandgebiet auf Elba, über Glas geschwemmte Erde, die an geologische Formationen und Landschaft erinnert. Der Blick wird auf das oftmals Übersehene gelenkt.

The exhibition ON EARTH deals with the seemingly familiar that surrounds us: The three-part cast of a listed end-grain parquet floor of the former „stone foundry“, richly marked with traces of its history of hard work, as a site-specific work in the exhibition space. Collected earth samples in glass vials, charred branches from a forest fire on Elba, earth washed over glass, evoking geological formations and landscape. The eye is drawn to what is often overlooked.
